More often than not if you're like many people you truly do not focus on what you want in life.
Are you concentrating on what you desire in life from your innermost-core and trusting the universe to lead the way?
To manifest precisely what you actually want means much more than simple visualization.
Imagine you're gladly driving down a road through the woods on a clear, bright day.
All of a sudden a chartered travel bus crosses the center line and is heading right at you. In this minute, your life depends on where you focus.
Expert driving instructors tell us that what individuals typically carry out in emergency scenarios is to stay concentrated on the item they are attempting to prevent.
In driving, where your eyes and mind are focused is frequently where you will lead yourself to.
So what's involved to focus on what you want?
The Course in Miracles teaches us this below through its many spiritual metaphysical lessons and principles: Within you now and always is the unborn possibility of a limitless experience of inner stability and outer treasure, and yours is the privilege of giving birth to it...
Sadly, if you were focused on the bus in the circumstance above you would likely steer right into it.
The route to security is to concentrate on where you want to go. In this case, you'd look away from the bus to a location that's more secure.
You would then instantly guide the automobile because instructions. Safe!
You may be wondering, "What the heck does that pertain to developing more pleasure, passion, and purpose in my life?"
My reaction is "A good deal!" As in the example of the bus, your life depends upon where you focus.
Concentrating on What You Don't Want Steers You to More of That
Often when we are feeling stuck, disappointed, baffled, or dissatisfied we are focused on what we DON'T desire. We are taking a look at the bus we'd like to avoid.
Why you're not reaching full potential:
We're thinking or saying: "I do not wish to remain in this miserable career another day." Or, "I do not want to work on this project" or "I don't want to have fish again for supper tonight."
From the huge occasions to the small details in life, we tend to put a great deal of our thoughts and attention on specifically what we do not desire.
So, what's the problem with that?
Well, it's like guiding your car into that bus. The more you concentrate on what you do not desire, the more you head in that direction.
Your mind is wired to produce when you focus on what you want.
My friend Wayne Dyer's many books including my favorite, Real Magic, and many others, too, are traditional books on this subject.
Even back to Nietzsche, Carl Jung, and again countless others, have informed us that the mind can't discriminate.
I mean between something you're thinking about that you want and something you're thinking of that you do not want.
These Masters including Jesus wanted us to learn one easy thing. It's that while we're in this world whatever you think about, your mind goes to work to make that occur.
Getting More of What You Really Do Want
If you'd like to get more of what you desire in life (enjoyment, passion, purpose), shift your focus away from what you do not desire.
Yes, and clearly, purposefully towards what you do desire. Your mind will go to work developing that. You'll get unstuck.
Here's a current personal example.
At the end of a long day, I was preparing supper. I 'd been grocery shopping and had the ingredients for three complex dishes I had not made before.
Then I began saying to myself, "I do not want to make these dishes. I don't desire these dishes to be so complex."
Those ideas increased my agitation. I felt upset and stuck.
The answer was: "I wish to make a fantastic and healthy tasting supper in such a way that is fast and simple for me."
I quickly saw an option I 'd been unable to see minutes before.
It was to make only one of the dishes that night along with an easy salad. Then, have the other new recipes for another evening.
The cooking was less difficult and the food turned out fantastic. I switched from what I didn't want to what I did want.
Are you focused on what you want or what you don't want?
I know lots of (perhaps most) people have an ingrained routine pattern that focuses us on what we don't want.
Changing this pattern can be difficult when you're not able to focus on what you want. And I've seen with myself and my readers that it's definitely worth doing!
The more you concentrate on what you do desire, the more enthusiasm, enjoyment, and 'know-how' you will develop in your life.
Concentrate on the clear roadway ahead, not on the bus coming at you.
Give this following power of visualization idea a "good old college try."
When you're feeling stuck, worried, anxious, angry, unhappy, or upset, end up being mindful of what you're concentrating on.
You might be focusing on precisely what you do not want.
As quickly as you observe you're concentrating on what you DON'T desire, ask yourself, "What DO I desire in this scenario?".
Focus on what is in your heart!
With the power of intent alter your focus to and keep your concentrate on what you do want.
Repeat as needed.
The route to security is to focus on what you want and where you want to go. The more you think about what you do not want, the more you head in that direction.
I changed from what I didn't desire to what I did want. I understand many (maybe most) of us have a deep-rooted habit pattern that focuses us on what we do not desire.
The more you focus on what you do desire, the more satisfaction, function, and passion you will develop in your life.
(I suggest seeking related content on topics like: as a massive component of identifying why your Creator wills that you know your purpose is living according to what inspires you.)
Keywords: focus on what you want, trusting the universe, course in miracles, passion and purpose
