When you consider the health benefits you stand to enjoy, it�s easy to motivate yourself about exercising. However, with the busy lifestyle we all lead today, finding time to exercise remains just a plan.

How to Get Exercise into Your Day
It�s natural that when you are facing something that is really important, you find ways to fit it into your schedule � no matter how packed it may be. It can be an appointment with your doctor about something that is really bugging you, or it�s a new movie that you have been waiting for.
You may not see the habit of exercising as something that is as compelling as the things mentioned above. However, you have to realize that you have full control over your calendar. Thus, you are �rare� if you cannot squeeze in some time to exercise.
Admittedly, it is not easy to figure out the best time to squeeze in some time to sweat it out � whether you�re using an app or a time-tracker in your planner. Fitting a half-hour workout into your day may be a struggle, but you easily fit an hour to goof off with friends or do some unimportant tasks that you can easily scrap altogether.
There are actually forms of exercise that you can combine with some of the tasks that you regularly do. For instance, you run your errands daily. So, why not literally �run� to do your errands? If there are audiobooks or video lectures that you need to listen to or watch, do it during a workout session.
Following are some tips on how to get exercise into your day:
Keep an appointment. � Once you have found an ideal time for your exercise, put it in your calendar. Stick to it as you would any other appointment.
To remain consistent, block that time slot off in your daily routine. Use that time for your exercise. Even if you only intend to work out in the gym thrice a week, use the same time slot for other activities like biking or doing some stretching exercises.
Reduce the time spent not exercising. � Even if you find it easy don�t struggle to allot 30 minutes of your time to a particular activity, it doesn�t seem as easy to block the time for running during your lunch break. After all, you need to change into your running clothes, then drive to and from the park and take a quick shower.
The key is to reduce the extra time associated with working out. If you work out at home, you can always start your day in workout clothes. You also don�t need to run to the park. You can just run around your neighborhood.
Keep your kids busy. � If you have kids, finding time to exercise would be easier if you can find reliable child care. Here are some useful tips:
Work out in a gym that has a kids� activity room.
When looking after kids at home, exercise where they are.
If you have a toddler, put him in a stroller, then walk him around the park, stopping from time to time to do some stretching.
