Lemon- Garlic Shrimp
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 ½ lb shrimp, peeled, deveined
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
¾ cup instant grits
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Juice of half lemon and lemon wedges, to serve
Directions:
1. Boil 3 cups of water in a pan over medium heat. Uncover and whisk in the grits. ½ tsp pepper 1 tsp salt. Simmer and stir the mixture occasionally until the liquid is thick. Stir in the parmesan with butter. Remove it from the heat. Season with the salt and pepper. Cover and keep warm.
2. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Melt the remaining butter in a pan. Add the garlic, shrimp and cayenne. Cook the shrimp for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat.
3. Add water, parsley and lemon juice. Toss to coat the shrimp with the sauce. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
4. Divide it into bowls. Top with the sauce and shrimp. Garnish with lemon wedges before serving.
Beef Ravioli Lasagna
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 package Ravioli
1 1/2 cups Mozzarella cheese
1 jar spaghetti sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
2. In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef over a medium to high heat.
3. Grease a baking dish with olive oil and layer it with 1/2 ravioli, 1/3 pasta sauce, 1/2 cheese and 1/4 beef.
4. Repeat layering the skillet with the proportions and top the skillet with the remaining spaghetti sauce and the Mozzarella cheese.
5. Cover the skillet and bake it in the oven for 35 minutes.
6. When the Mozzarella cheese melts through, take it out of the oven and serve the amazing Ravioli Mozzarella and Beef Lasagna Recipe while hot.
Pepper Steak
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 lb cut-up beef, for stir fry
¼ cup hoisin sauce
1 onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, cut into squares
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
Hot cooked noodles
Procedure
1. Place a large pan over high heat. Add the oil and spread it using a spatula.
2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes until brown.
3. Add bell pepper and onion. Cook for 1 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in the hoisin sauce. Cook for 30 seconds until it is hot. Serve with noodles if desired.
Steak with Gravy
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
2 tsp seasoned salt
3 lbs cube steak
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. butter
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 ½ cups whole milk
½ cup vegetable oil
¾ tsp paprika
Pinch of salt
Pinch of ground pepper
For the gravy
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp seasoned salt
3-4 cups whole milk
Fresh ground pepper
Mashed potatoes, for serving
Directions:
1. Combine the eggs and milk in a bowl. Combine the flour, paprika, 1 ½ tsp black pepper and seasoned salt in a separate bowl. Place the meat in a third bowl.
2. Sprinkle one piece of meat with black pepper and salt. Roll it in the flour mixture. Submerge it in the egg mixture. Roll it in flour again then place on a plate. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining meat.
3. Pour oil in a large pan. Add the butter and heat until hot. Cook the meat 3 pieces at a time. Cook for 2 minutes on each side. Remove then place it on paper towel to absorb excess oil. Transfer to a plate.
4. Reserve about ¼ cup of grease in the pan. Return pan to medium heat. Add the flour on the pan and whisk until it is golden brown paste. Gently pour the milk into the pan and season it with salt and pepper. Whisk it until thick. Adjust the milk if it is too thick. Serve the gravy mixture with the dish.
