Here are some tips and steps to improve your health in the morning:

1. Stretch and Exercise

Exercise is not often done at night because it increases your heart rate. Thus, you cannot sleep right away. It will be hard to wind down after that. You must do it every morning to prepare your soul, mind, and body for the tasks for the whole day. After you have established a good night's sleep, you are now ready to start your day right. A few movements and stretches after waking up have a lot of positive effects on your body.

A morning exercise may be hard to do at first, but it's going to be worth it in the end. A few minutes of workout will give you a lot of health benefits that will not be replaceable by just a few minutes of extra sleep in the morning. It can prevent heart diseases, hypertension, and obesity.

2. Drink Water

Research shows that drinking seven to eight glasses of water a day will give your body therapeutic benefits. And the best time to do this routine is right after waking up. That is when your stomach is empty. Your body is naturally dehydrated after 8 hours of sleep, so it is just right to rehydrate in your body.

Normally, people would drink 8 glasses of water a day, but the Japanese people discovered a more effective way of utilizing it. They formulated a water cure or health therapy that is said to heal some illnesses. People might not believe it because of lack of research and evidence, but you can see the Japanese people as a living testimony. They have the most number of elders with ages ranging from 90 to 100 years old. They must have some kind of secret medicine and this water remedy could be it.

3. Sunlight Exposure

Sometimes, you cannot avoid situations wherein you need to deprive yourself of sleep. Your tendency is to make it up during the day. If this continues, your body might be confused with your body clock. Studies show that light can reset your biological clock. It sends signals to the brain that it is already time to wake up. This is the reason why people who go to bed with lights on have a hard time sleeping.

Exposing yourself to sunlight can strengthen your immune system and prevent diseases like cancer. If you can't avoid unnatural lights from gadgets or television at night, then you need at least 15 minutes of exposure to bright sunlight during the day. Experts also say that the best time to absorb sunlight is before 8 AM. Your skin might be exposed to sun rays that causes sunburn if you won't follow the right time.

4. Eat a Healthy Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives you enough energy and strength to do all the activities for the whole day. Some people skip breakfast because they think that it is just a waste of time to cook in the morning. It might also be the reason why they are late in their appointments at work or school. This bad habit should be changed because a breakfast will improve both your physical and mental health.

It is not only necessary to take your breakfast, make sure that you will also have a "healthy" one. People might say that they ate their breakfast, but does not actually take the right vitamins and nutrients needed.
