This is used to prevent fraudulent transactions and to detect illegal transactions like money laundering. Other than that, Financial intitutions use artificial intelligence for book-keeping, fund management, and operational organization.

Self-Driving Cars
With 30 companies developing this technology, self-driving technology has the most variety in function and purpose. There�s Tesla�s Autopilot system that can work on limited-access highways using specially-designed cameras. The Google self-driving car that is being designed to drive itself without the aid of a map or a GPS. There is comm.ai�s artificial intelligence that can learn driving from the humans driving the car. When implemented, self-driving cars are believed to potentially decrease accidents due to driver error and drunk-driving.

These applications of artificial intelligence may still be in the early stages of development. However, it illustrates the possibilities and changes in manual and transactional labor in the future of work and artificial intelligence. Banks have already replaced human fraud analysts with artificial intelligence to spot fraudulent behavior immediately. Chatbots have already decreased the workload of customer service representatives by answering frequently answered questions. With further development, different applications could make menial tasks be done by artificial intelligence, which frees human personnel for more complex tasks.
