Morning Sickness...
Morning sickness. What fool decided to call it morning sickness when you end up sick as a dog at any point during the day? Morning, noon, or night... It really doesn't matter what, where, when, or why... You end up sick at the drop of a hat. Lol My "morning" sickness has gotten a bit more severe, but I'm hanging in there. I ended up in the emergency room over the weekend because of a bladder infection. I was dehydrated as well, so ended up getting fluids and antibiotics.
Seeing The Doctor...
I went back to a doctor that I've seen before. The nurses welcomed me back with jokes and open arms. I had to move abruptly the last time. One doesn't think that nurses or doctors really care about what happens to a patient once they leave. In this case, I was wrong. When I showed up the nurses were quite happy to see that I was alright. One of the nurses, in particular, took me off to the side and asked me to never do that again because they were so worried. Properly chastised, I honestly told her that I didn't know that they had cared that much. That sounds worse written than it was spoken. I was honestly touched that they cared so much. I promised to never disappear again. Lol That makes me sound like such a little kid.
The Welcome Package...
If you've never had a baby before, when you go to the doctor for your first appointment, you get a whole bag filled with goodies. Feminine cleansing pads, magazines, rules and regulations about this and that. It can be overwhelming yet exciting. You also get a prescription for prenatal vitamins. A word of advice... If your prenatal vitamins are making you sick, it may very well be that there is too much iron in them. They make vitamins with a little less or no iron in them. Ask your doctor about alternatives if you find that you're sicker after having taken them.
Let's hope that I can push past this bladder infection and nausea. Blah! Until next week!
