Mark Humes works as a Digital Abstract artist. He was born on April 29, 1974 in a family of musicians in Wenatchee, Washington, U.S.A. Today he calls Kenosha, Wisconsin his home and is a local prolific artist .

As a child, he was passionate in drawing pictures . Before he became a Digital Abstract artist, he worked for the U.S. Army.

After knowing about the physical and mental injuries he sustained during his work as a military that limited his capabilities, he decided to embark on a new journey – that eventually led him to self-expression and being a digital abstract artist.

besides working as an artist, Mark Humes also works as an author and a broadcaster. He owns of Paladin Radio Wpal-DB. He is also an on-air DJ personality known as guilewolf.

In 2005 Humes founded Paladin Radio Wpal-DB, a internet-streamed radio station. with help from the Centre for Military Music Opportunity or CAMMO, he partnered with Mission one voice give airplays to military and ex-military personnel to facilitate healing. Because of that, his radio station, Paladin, has been dubbed as "a soldier of light".

After some time, Humes observed that words were not enough to describe his thoughts and emotions. Because of that, he started producing artworks which express his thoughts and emotions. He also expresses his cultural views and how he sees the people's conditions.

His abstract artworks speak of a million words and powerful feelings. In Humes' perspective, abstract art utilizes the visual elements of forms, shapes, lines and colors to create works that do not imitate the world.

Humes has already opened his very own online gallery of his abstract artworks. Some of his works include the following: The Book of Lost Verses book 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, Codex Venereorum Abstracta, and CVA2 . He always displays the works he makes in his books named as "The Book of Lost Verses" and "Codex Venereorum Abstracta." The copies of his books can also be found in Barnes & Noble.
