How We May Truly Heal

Healing brings together what has been altered, and is a thought or a glimpse that you are more than just a body. It's a thought by which your mind can perceive a oneness beyond itself, and feel glad in realizing peace. It's elation.

It's when abstract, right-minded thinking swiftly fills the gaps of the separated and cracked-apart concrete, bringing to it the abstract's touch. This elation reaches out to the One Child of God, which is the relationship of all minds, which A Course in Miracles terms the Sonship.

The Sonship is humanity as a whole, behind the dream of separation. You and I, and everyone you see, are what comprise the Sonship. The Mind behind this whole Son of God is the Christ Mind. Some realize this already, but many are still unaware, given the ego's severe pull on them.

God, which is the One Mind with One Thought as His creation, embodies the entire Sonship. This embodiment is all that is real; anything else is unreal and not of God. Therefore, what is not of God does not exist.

In order for us to see this more clearly through the ego's hold on us, let's use a concrete method many will recognize. Picture two circles in your mind, a smaller circle inside a larger one. Take a look at these two circles.

One circle is within the other circle. The One Thought of the One Mind of God is all that is within the larger circle, and within that is the Christ Mind, which holds the Thought of the Sonship. Both circles share the sameness of being whole.

Once you have accepted this visualization by your concrete thinking, where the ego runs rampant with questions, use your abstract thinking to REMOVE the edge lines of both circles. Now you don't have circles at all, though the concrete part of you wants to still see perimeters. Inside the perimeters there will always be judgment. What can possibly be judged inside of infinity?

Anything seen as separate must have a perimeter. The ego in humanity wants to multiply, then divide perimeters for its accomplishments, making separate wholes and fragmenting off from that. This is its thought system filled with conflict.

When the fragmenting begins by splitting the concrete thoughts, it leaves gaps where more perimeters are built. When abstract or right-minded thinking is alerted to this, it rushes to fill in the gaps, and perimeters cannot be built.

This is the constant healing process that shifts us forward where we embrace wholeness, and is the state of mind that will bring you success while in this world.
