Living in palatial mansions, driving luxury cars, going on sunset cruises in yachts, and traveling around the world in jet-setting style are often material indications of someone�s success in life. Wealth remains to be a popular concept of what is success to many young people today. However, not everyone who has achieved it in real life can be considered truly happy.

Having much in life, it seems, is not always enough to make a person feel whole and contented. So, if wealth alone cannot define success since it does not guarantee happiness in the end, what then does it take for someone to be truly successful?

Discovering your Definition of Success

You can also use them to draw a corresponding course of action to turn those personal visions of yours into a reality. More importantly, determining what is success for you can prevent any reckless undertakings that you may regret in the long run, simply because they lack meaning to you.

One of the major causes of unhappiness despite a person�s many accomplishments may be associated to a sense of emptiness that are most likely the result of having no one to share your triumphs with. As material success often lacks substance, the kind of satisfaction it brings to the people is usually temporary.
