The Google Adsense program is the most popular strategy for bloggers to earn money from blogging. However, some bloggers aren't lucky and their applications end up getting rejected by Google. Your blog's application may have been rejected as well, but what exactly are the reasons? Here are the top ten reasons why Google Adsense rejects some applications:

The blog is brand-new.

Bloggers shouldn't expect to earn money from blogging the moment they create a blog. Google prefers the blog to be active for at least six months in order to qualify for Google Adsense.

Your blog doesn't have a lot of posts.

Google Adsense needs a blog to create a minimum of 40 or 50 blog posts - the bigger the amount of posts in a blog, the higher the value of a blog. If your blog is newly-created with only a few posts , concentrate on adding more content first.

The blog doesn't have a Privacy Policy, About Us, or Contact Us page.

The purpose of these pages is for Google to verify that the blogger is a legitimate person and not an auto-bot software. Having an About Us or Contact Us page also make the blog more valuable.
- The blog needs a section for name or e-mail verification.
- Google needs a legitimate full name and/or e-mail address for verification.
- The blogger is not being honest with his/her age.

Google Adsense wants the blogger to be at least 18 years of age. Young bloggers try to go around the requirement by lying about their age, but Google finds a way to expose teenage bloggers.

The blog doesn't have a domain of its own.

Google doesn't like it when a blog still has the attached ".blogspot" or ".wordpress" to a web domain. If your blog still uses low-level web domain, it's high time to get yourself a top-level domain. Getting a domain need not be too expensive, as Wordpress and Blogspot offer to have their trademarks removed for a minimal monthly fee.

The blog posts or promotes illegal content.

Expect that your blog's application will be rejected if Google finds out that your content talks about pornography and graphic violence.

The blog's design is unprofessional.

First impressions definitely last even in online content. Your blog has minimal chance of approval if your web layout is not pleasing to the eyes. There are online guides and articles that teach you how to strategically place content in a professional manner.

The blog is already using other advertising services.

If the blog is using advertising services from Chikita or BlogAds, don't expect Google to approve your blog's Adsense application. If you want your blog to have more than one ad service, disable other ad services before submitting your application to Google.

The blog generates paid traffic.

One big no-no from Google is using paid advertising to generate visits and earn money from blogging. This happens when your blog has its dedicated Facebook page and you use Facebook Ads to generate traffic for your blog. Google doesn't approve bloggers trying to cheat their way to earn money from blogging. By all means, generate organic traffic such as sharing via social media platforms.
