Clients are also usually allowed to pick their voice artist. They can do this either by visiting the company's website and listening to voice samples, or contacting the firm to request for recommendations.

Next, the client submits the script details, which includes the following information, among others: product or service description, length of the commercial, the format that the advertisement is saved in, and other additional services he may need (e.g., video editing, translation). Finally, the client requests for a quote, based on the requirements he listed. The voiceover firm will now assess the job requirements, and from there, give the client a quotation for his desired services. If both sides come to an agreement, the voiceover company will start recording the lines from the client's script, using a the voice talent that the was picked for the job.
