Have you ever been exposed to an impressive amount of wisdom by someone half your age? That is what happened to me today when I listened to an Inner Circle audio by Paulo CQ, the male counterpart of The Power Couple, a successful young entrepreneurial duo. He made a difficult decision to go against the grain and not follow the norm. It paid off.
Paoulo explains that society teaches us to think a certain way. Anybody that tries to think differently is a weirdo. His point is if you are thinking like everyone else, then you are average. You can't expect to do anything extraordinary if you think average. He explains at only 19 he began to awaken to free thinking. He did not want to settle with the definition that society gave for average success. If success for the average person is going to college and getting a degree, then he wanted more than average. Though he was picked on and ridiculed, he continued to pursue his dreams of extraordinary success. I can't help but feel admiration for those that have drive and determination when the odds are against them especially at a young age when others are quick to pull the rug out from under you.
I have heard different terms around taking action such as:
Take Massive Action
Learn, Do, Teach
Learn and Implement
but Paoulo introduced what he calls the four degrees of taking action:
1. Doing Nothing
2. Retreating
3. Being Average
4. Taking Massive Action
For me, seeing the degrees of action broken down this way made me realize I have been consistently floating among the first three degrees and at times dipping into the forth degree. Now that I have a reminder of what "degree" of action I may be taking, I can remind myself I need to constantly and consistently stay in the forth degree of taking MASSIVE action.
My greatest inspirations in pursuing a lifestyle of freedom have come from listening to Inner Circle audios. I listen to at least 15 minutes a day and more often 30 minutes or more. You would be astounded at how your outlook on life can change just after a few days of listening to audios and reading self-development books. I encourage you to read such books for at least 15 minutes a day and listen to audios or even a YouTube video of inspiration or motivation for at least 15 minutes each day. My mentors accredit great success to these activities. Having a mindset to welcome abundance into your life is the most sure way to attract it.
