As you relax, slightly smile. If a thought tries to invade your mindfulness, then just acknowledge the thought cordially and slowly bring yourself back to full attention on the activity.
How to be Confident #3: Take care of yourself.
Here are other activities that you can do to take care of yourself:
Exercise. You do not need to enroll in a gym and pay annual dues to attain a fit body and toned muscles. Jogging every morning or walking with your spouse is a perfect way to exercise.
Wear clean and well pressed clothes. This does not mean wearing expensive clothes. Wear comfortable and presentable clothes that will show who you are.
Taking care of yourself is not all about keeping your physical appearance neat You need to make your mind alert as well. You can do this through reading books and engaging with friends in interesting conversations about sensible topics.
