Network Marketing Success - No Excuses

I have a question for you. Is your business where you want it to be? Is it going the direction you want it to go. If you answered "no" to either question, then I have some tips and tricks for you to help you get your business going in the right direction.

The first thing I would like you to do is to list the three things that come to mind immediately when you answer the question, "Why isn't your business going the way you want it to go?" Now be honest and list the first three things that come to mind, in no particular order of priority. Look at your answer and be honest with yourself.

Are they excuses? Is one of your answers, "Look there are only 24 hours in a day, there isn't enough time to get everything done" or another one is, "I have too many competing priorities". Does the dog interfere, and the kids homework take away precious time? What about your favorite TV show, or activity, golf, bowling? How about your regular job? All these (and many other) are excuses.

Look I am going to be honest with you. I hope that's OK. Successful people make progress despite the obstacles. Unsuccessful people let the obstacles stop them and become their reasons for lack of success, their excuses.

If you find yourself making excuses, I can pretty much promise you that your business will not grow, it will probably fail. You are not going to get where you want to go to. Entrepreneurs don't make excuses, they make progress. They overcome objections. They find ways around the distraction.

We all have the same 24 hours in a day. You have the same number of hours in a day as Donald Trump and Andrew Carnegie. They built empires in those 24 hours each day. If they can get it done, you can get it done. What are you building with your time?

It may require a change of environment. Maybe it really is impossible for you to work at home. Maybe you need to go to Starbuck's a couple hours every day. Or maybe, as I have discussed in the past, you need to sit down with your family and negotiate your work time so that your home office is inviolate. Your family needs to understand when you are in your office, you are at work and not to be disturbed. You have to have the time to build your business.

Whatever you need, if you want to succeed you have to create the vision of where you are going and you have to have the determination to get it there and you cannot let the circumstances of life get in the way.

Successful people make progress. People who are not successful make excuses. Are you making progress today?
