Women all around the world wants to look beautiful. Most women wishes for fuller lips, higher cheekbones, and thicker and fuller lashes. Good news, ladies! You may now achieve those longer lashes you've been wishing for.
Not all women are born with long and thick lashes that perfectly complement her eyes. Sometimes, it requires a little bit of work to achieve this, and that 'work' is curling your lashes.
But I must tell you, curling eyelashes may be a pretty difficult task but it's worth the effort. To achieve those thick and long lashes, you must know how to use an eyelash curler properly. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to use an eyelash curler:
Step 1: Make sure that your eyelashes are clean and dry. Wet lashes result to the "folded lashes" look.
Step 2 (optional): Warm up your eyelash curler by using a blow dryer. This makes your eyelashes thicker and it helps the curl stay longer.
Step 3: Open the eyelash curler and place your eyelashes in the open space between it.
Step 4: Move your eyelash curler close enough to the base of your eyelids but far enough from your eyelids. This is to avoid pinching your eyelids.
Step 5: Look slightly downwards and slowly close the eyelash curler. Squeeze the curler handles with light pressure and hold it in for a few seconds, and then release. Repeat this step until your eyelashes are curled enough as desired.
Step 6: Repeat all five steps with the other eye.
Tips from beauty professionals when using an eyelash curler:
"Always sanitize your eyelash curler, including the strips. Or if possible, change the strips regularly." - James Vincent
"Heat up your eyelash curler before using it to give yourself a more wide eyed look." - Sophia Panych
"Go with metal curlers. This is better because plastic curlers tend to snap after too much use." - Tess Stepford
"The more expensive, then the better results to be given to you. Avoid buying cheap eyelash curlers because they tend to break easily. It may even chop off your lashes." - Michelle Phan
"Heat up your eyelash curler but do not exaggerate it for your lashes my fall off due to the excess heat." - Ann Linden
"When using an eyelash curler, it is very important to not just clamp it on your lashes, but to walk the eyelash curler out. Slowly walk the curler out to the end of the lashes as opposed to just clamping it down and ending up a harsh curl to your lashes." - Sarah Reiley
"Make sure your eyelashes are has no make up because this might affect results." - Kati Blake
Eyelash curlers can be bought from local drugstores and supermarkets . You may even buy one from online retail stores. There are different brands to choose from so there is no need to worry if a certain eyelash curler doesn't suit you.
