Network Marketing, also known as multi- level marketing (MLM), is a business plan in which sales representative get their compensation from their personal sales as well as the sales of people one has in his/her network, also referred to as "downline". In the last half of the 60s, several industries slowed down and unemployment rates jumped. During this time, network marketer rocked its way to massive expansion as employment rate dropped.

In the last five decades of recessionary period, it's also a period when network marketing industry created substantial explosion. History alone proves this industry's great potential in the business world and proves MLM's revolutionary characteristics of changing people's lives.
