Today I want to talk about something called, "The vacuum law of prosperity." The question is, "What is blocking you from allowing the things to come into your life that you want to come into your life"?

Now one of the principles we have heard about nature is that nature abhors a vacuum. If we leave a hole, nature is going to fill it. If we walk on the beach and leave footprints in the sand, the wind is going to come and waves are going to come and the holes are going to get filled. And, that is true of every aspect of our life.

We know if we eat too much, we better get rid of some of what we ate in order to make room for more. We have to eliminate things in order to make room for new things to come into our life. So what is it that you would like new in your life that you are blocking by hanging into old, dysfunctional things?

Are you trying to build a business but you have some really good friends who grab you by the arm and say, "Come on, it ain't gonna work, I tried that a long time ago. Let's just go have a beer and forget about it". Well maybe you need to eliminate those friends.

Now I don't mean get a shotgun and take them out behind the woodshed and out them out of their misery, but spend less time with them. If you spend less time with your negative friends, you are going to create a hole for some new friends to come into your life. Just make sure your new friends are the right kind of new friends. Positive new friends! They are selected from people who are going where you want to go, people who are positive and supportive of your dreams and ambitions.

What about your office? Do you walk into your office in the morning and go, "Oh my god look at this mess"? Do you cringe from the clutter, chaos and disorder? Well stop! Clean up the mess, clear the clutter, get rid of the junk!

What about clothes? Maybe you would like some new clothes. Go to the closet and get rid of the old dysfunctional clothes you're not wearing. You know, the stuff that is 3 sizes too small that you intend to shrink back into someday.

Are you still driving around in an old clunker car. You would like a new car but there is no room for a new car because the driveway is full of old clunker cars. May be it is time to call the tow truck and getting rid of one of those old cars

One of the most powerful principles is the principle of vacuum and prosperity. If you want new things in your life, you have to get rid of the old dysfunctional things and make room for the new.
