Does Batman vs. Superman have Marvel stressed?

After choosing to battle with DC's 'Batman vs. Superman', it looks like Disney Studios is not quite so sure concerning the 'Captain America 3' launch day ...

In current weeks, we've seen marvel throw down the gauntlet to its DC opponents ... and in a shocking game of launch day chicken, we see both 'Batman vs. Superman' and 'Captain America 3' premiering on the same day. Is that such a good step? Disney boss Alan Horn is not so sure ...

According to Variety press reporter Brent Lang, it looks as though Marvel could be the very first to back down in the Marvel/DC movie release date standoff.

Ironically, this comes very soon after Warner Bros. rep Dan Fellman rather stoically clarified that 'Batman vs. Superman' will not back down.

"It doesn't make a lot of sense for 2 huge superhero films to open up on the very same date but there is a lot of time between now and 5/6/16," he shared. "However at this time, we are not considering a change of date for 'Batman vs. Superman'."

Although Warner Bros. would not take into consideration changing their release date, it looks as though Marvel is having second thoughts regarding squaring up to their comics opponents. And after launching this fascinating release-date feud, it can leave Marvel with egg on their faces if they at some point choose to back away.

The point is ... it can be a good company move...business wise.

In recent times, both empires have attempted their stance to stay away from release day confrontations ... and that's worked out excellent at the box office. Placing the two giants head-to-head on the very same day could destroy any opportunity of a mega-opening weekend...for BOTH films.

SO....will Marvel or Warner Bros. ultimately back down? For now, we'll simply need to wait and hang around...to find out. However, someone will have to play the first card.

'Batman vs.Superman' will show up in movie theaters across the UK on 29 April 2016... then dealing face to face with 'CA3' in the US on 5/6/2016.
