In order to prevent a message from being mistaken as spam, they can opt to include a few words above the actual message that states the reason why that particular individual has received that message. One reason they can use is that the person is a subscriber at a certain mailing list so a mail is already preset to be sent out to all the members in that list. Another option is to include an unsubscribe feature in the message so that they have the choice of refusing unsolicited email messages and save the sender from being falsely accused of spamming.
