As in Shakespeare's Hamlet, brevity is the soul of wit. Refrain from flowery or ambiguous phrases. Clear communication still boils down to articulating a clear goal from the start.

Finally, leadership does not exist without a team. It needs strategic planning. If successful campaigning is the goal, strengthen your team. A good leader is a relationship expert. Good leadership means knowing yourself and your team. Strengthening relationships is the key in advocacy campaigning. Perhaps the hardest aspect of leadership is people management. People are highly unpredictable and come with very unique personalities. It takes a good leader to know how to synergize a team's strengths and weaknesses. Good leadership is only as good as the team being led.
