If you are a gun owner and if you wish to help support our 2nd amendment rights, you can follow these simple suggestions to supporting gun ownership rights.
• Exercise the right to wear your gun shirts.
This is a very basic but also very brazen way of announcing that "I support the 2nd amendment". Just as there are conservative shirts, pro-American t shirts, and tea party t shirts, there's also nothing stopping you from wearing 2nd amendment shirts. Have fun with it. Funny gun shirts and customizable shirts are all the rage. Order custom T-shirts online and have "What is our second amendment?" printed on it. Wear your gun shirts with pride and give people something to think about.
• Invite friends to the gun shop or to the firing range.
Some people have such strong hatred towards guns but they have never even held one before. These people don't know what they are talking about and don't know what they are missing out on. The people who wrote the 2nd amendment could not have predicted the level of modernity that contemporary firearms have reached; neither could they have known about the wars and battles that we fight today. But they were right about the most important thing. Despite the presence of the police and the armed forces and the government, we still are the ones most responsible for our own safety. If we can learn to protect ourselves, we must.

• Teach a gun safety class.

• Join a pro-gun rights rally.
