1. Making believe issues simply didn't exist.
I recall hearing that exactly what you think about you attract to you, so I really had a worry of even acknowledging these problems existed, no matter exactly how in my face they were, from fear of making them even larger. As time went on the feeling of anger and depression just got more powerful over time the more I tried to press them out of my awareness.
Positive thinking should have to do with concentrating on exactly what you want, however it should not be at the cost of the truth of exactly what is taking place around you, whether excellent or bad. If you have troubles in your life, you need to recognize them before you can fix them. Ignoring them won't make them disappear.
2. Believing that your issues will amazingly be fixed at the last moment (AKA living on a prayer, LITERALLY).
I have heard of friends of friends who had expenses show up when their savings are totally empty. Instead of doing any action to change that, they would state that the money would magically appear somehow.
I don't know if there was any cash that was scheduled to come into that account, however it still kinda shook me up that people would leave such important things to chance like that.
It's easy to see exactly how this can explode in your face. Don't do it.
3. Beating yourself up over any negative emotions that enter your mind, making them even worse.
I still bear in mind when the movie "The Secret" initially came out (prior to it got picked up by the fabulous Oprah media unit). One of the major things that was instructed was that exactly what you think about, consciously or SUBconsciously, you draw in.
And, if you're human, bad thoughts and unfavorable feelings have the tendency to strike you every now and then.
Now, what has the tendency to happen, despite our best efforts, is we wind up sensation guilty or overreact to those negative sensations, having them grow to even bigger negative emotions (growing as we try to block them out), causing us to concentrate more on that adverse emotion, and on and on and on ... as it presses people into a vicious downward spiral.
Exactly what Needs To Happen To Make The Law of Attraction REALLY WORK.
Belief is essential, though in the end absolutely nothing happens without taking direct action to make it happen. The larger the goal, the more action (and maybe even more people) that will be needed for that desired result to occur.
You wish to concentrate on a preferred result, have reminders of stated preferred result, do something about it to attain that desired outcome, and stick with it till you reach that desired outcome.
Once again, bad thoughts take place every every now and then, and it's okay as long as you do not STAY concentrated on it. Acknowledge these problems exist, direct your concentrate on a particular situation you want to be in where that trouble is fixed, and take large action till you reach your desired result.
