Fashion dolls have been part of the toys and plays of little children. Parents love giving their little princesses fashion dolls, while these daughters love combing their hair, talking to them and dressing them up. Blythe dolls and Barbie dolls are just some of the fashion dolls that girls love. Even grown-up women continue to collect fashion dolls and take care of them as if they were still young. What makes fashion dolls a/ an apple of the eye of young children?

Children move through different stages as they grow up. They start from infancy, then progress to toddlerhood up until they become adults. Their fascination for toys starts as early as infancy. Remember how infants love looking at the colourful toys hang above their cribs or how they like the sound of rattles? And toddlers? Well, they love just about anything. But why do little girls preferentially love fashion dolls? The answer is as simple as to why little boys love guns and armours. Women are emotional and compassionate human beings. They love taking care of something or someone and they get attached easily. They love companionship and they love talking. This characteristics of women start at a young age and they are most evident when little girls play with their fashion dolls.

At the toddler stage, the kids get easily fascinated by lots of colors. This is the stage where their senses start to work out and give them some knowledge about the world. This is also the stage when children would start to play with fashion dolls. You may notice that they may not take care of their fashion dolls as well as how older children do. They rip the head off, remove the clothes and draw circles and other shapes on them, and remove their extremities. At this stage, you may decide not to give her fashion dolls anymore. But don't worry; this attitude would come to pass. Let her play with it because this is how she will learn.

This is because they are just learning through their senses. The pre-shool stage is the age where kids start to have imaginary friends and where they start to act exaggeratedly. You may notice your little sister talking to herself, as if she is talking to someone and you may hear her exaggerated stories. At this stage, giving her some fashion dolls would enhance her imagination. She now has someone to talk to, someone to take care of, and she could tell you stories about her friend. This is also the stage when her sense of compassion would be ignited. She'll bathe her fashion dolls, change her clothes and comb her hair. If you see your kids doing these things, praise her. This would encourage her good attributes and this is a way of telling her that what she is doing is right.

But why are there still teenagers and adult women keeping their fashion dolls and playing with them? Well, for one reason, it could be that their fashion dolls make them feel secured. The dolls have become their transition objects and they have treated them like a real friend. They still talk to them at times when they have problems.

Fashion dolls are well-loved by many people and it stems out from different reasons. These fashion dolls, apparently, aren't just for fashion. They signify compassion and friendship as well.
