I was speaking with a new partner the other day, he said that the last thing he wanted to do was make cold calls to strangers. He felt bad trying to sell them something they probably do not want. My reply no phone no problem, why would I say that.
Because with the use of today's technology and a comprehensive training tools available it really is no problem. Let me explain something that was almost a secret.
In the old days the phone was the principle element if your business was anything to do with sales. Cold calls, three way calls, being a messenger for someone else, was about the extent of the job.
Let's say you accept the idea that cold calling, and ruining family relationships is not the only way to be successful. Would that make you feel more comfortable? How then would you conduct your business?
The basis of all business online, or not says in the first place you need a basic knowledge of what a business entails, as a partial example;
• The importance, and methods of marketing.
• How to access traffic
• A sales offer
• A funnel to capture the sale
There obviously is more to it than just that.
You may thinking "oh I need to go to university and get a 60,000 dollar degree" Let's not get carried away.
You will need information. That is well covered by many sources, and no there is not a need to spend 60,000 dollars.
If you are really serious about a home business, and are willing to never give up, never quit, and not afraid of work then you are the type of person who will succeed.
Do not be suckered into a scheme where the thing is about cold calls and making the gurus rich. Find yourself a scheme where you can learn while you earn. A scheme that has universal application, in this way you are not locked into any one product or offering. In today's business world that is the kiss of death.
Once you get on to your new path you will find there are extremely important steps to follow daily. These steps will teach you discipline and provide beneficial and crucial information to help you succeed.
There are a couple of ways to look at this process, remembering that running a business is a process.
• Accept the idea that it is going to require work and education, and

• Some small investments in yourself are required when you begin.
This is some of what is required to be independently successful. The pursuit of this will ultimately bring the wanted benefits to you and your family. It will not make someone else wealthy, while you continue to struggle.
The other option; tell yourself that you don't want extra money, you don't want to be debt free, you don't want that new car you have always wanted, and that you really do want to deny yourself and your family the benefits of a little affluence.
Do not let this notion of having to use a phone to make contact deter you. I am revealing something that was almost a secret, but not anymore.
