Why would end-time financing be a subject to be discussed? After all, we are talking about the Great Tribulation and judgment, darkness and gloom. In the end times God will fulfill all of His promises concerning the church as spoken by His Apostles and Prophets. The church will be glorified before the eyes of God's enemies; yes it will get dark in these days but remember that light shines brighter in the darkness. God is also a covenant keeping God and in order to fulfill His covenant He must confirm all His promises that He made to His church including that of prosperity. Yes, prosperity is part of the covenant of God that establishes Him as Jehovah God, making Him greater than the god of this world, "Satan", who has stolen the wealth that belongs to the heirs of salvation. It is a known fact that whoever controls the wealth is the one that governs.
Satan was given authority by the fall of Adam and the kingdoms of the world were turned over to him to control, but when Jesus defeated Satan on the cross, he had no more legal right to kill, steal and destroy. The only reason that Satan is still around is because the time frame, or probation period, of 6000 years that was given to Adam and was turned over to Satan legally has not run out. While Jesus legally defeated Satan on the cross and striped him of his authority, Satan still has dominion over those who are not walking in faith. He deceives us into thinking that he still has legal right over us and over all the riches that now belong to God's people. Now just the same way we use faith to obtain salvation, healing, deliverance and answered prayers, we are to use faith to transfer the wealth of the wicked that will take place in the latter days. This revelation is needed because God wants to finance the end time revival that will cover the whole earth.
So as we shall see there will be great prosperity for God's people. God wants first to establish His covenant and secondly to take back what the devil has stolen from us (transfer of wealth) and finally to finance the preaching of the Gospel around the world.
In James chapter 5 verse 3 clearly says that the riches of the wicked have been hoarded up for the last days, these last days are the same last days as the one spoken in Acts 2:17 "in the last days I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh". It is also the same last days spoken by the Apostle Paul in II Timothy 3 which starts out saying "in the last days shall be dangerous times" so when the Bible speaks about last day financing it is talking about the times we are living in.
To confirm this fact let's look to Matthew chapter 25. Matthew 25 is a prophetic chapter that is divided into 3 prophetic sections, the first section verses 1 thru 13 talks about the parable of the ten virgins which speaks of how we are to be ready for the second coming of Christ, definitely talking about the end times. At the end of this chapter, we have the third prophetic section verses 31 thru 46, this section describes the return of Christ as He set up His kingdom here on earth and rewards His servants accordingly. But right in between these prophetic sections we find the middle or 2nd section verses 14 thru 30 known as the parable of the talents. This portion of scripture talks about the duplication of money during the latter days. How interesting that in between the section that speaks about being prepared for the coming of Christ and the section that speaks about the actual return of Christ, we find the Spirit speaking to us concerning end time financing.
With every move of God and dealing's, when it is all over with God always blesses his people financially. This pattern is called transfer of wealth and it is found throughout the Bible, from Abraham to Christ to modern history. Abraham and Jacob were part of a move of God and it was evident that they experienced great wealth. Joseph was used to bless God's people even in the midst of Great Tribulation. When Moses led God's people out of Egypt, God transferred the wealth from the wicked to the church. David and Solomon also were part of a move of God and saw the transfer.
In Isaiah 23:17-18 this principle is explain clearly not in story form but described in a very plain way, "And it shall be, at the end of seventy years, that the Lord will deal with Tyre. She will return to her hire, and commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth. Her gain and her pay will be set apart for the Lord; it will not be treasured nor laid up, for her gain will be for those who dwell before the Lord, to eat sufficiently, and for fine clothing."
Notice the profit goes to those who live before the Lord so they may have an abundance of food and be clothed with best. In Isaiah 61:4-7 once again we find this prophetic promise of Transfer of Wealth made to the church of the end times. We are very familiar with the first three verses of this passage which speaks concerning the promise of the Spirit of the Lord upon us to do the same works as Jesus did, but we always stop short and never go on to the revelation of Transfer of Wealth.
What must we do to be part of this "Transfer of Wealth" in the end days? When shall we see this great transfer? There are several things that a believer must do to ensure that even in the worst of times they will prosper.
First of all Ecclesiastes 2:26 declare that this Transfer of Wealth belongs to those that do good before His sight. "But to the sinner He gives travail, to gather and to heap up that he may give to him that is good before God." The sinners are given the task of gathering and heaping up of the wealth, to hand it over to those who do well before the Lord. Our good fortune is that God repeats the same promise in the New Testament in James 5:3, "Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. You have heaped treasure together for the last days." It is also confirmed in Proverbs 13:22 "the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous."
So the second step to the "Transfer of Wealth" is to be righteous (always do what is the will of God), God always prospers those who do His will.
Step three is found in Proverbs 28:8 "He that by usury and unjust gain increase his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor." Those who help the poor will God open the door to this Transfer of Wealth. To confirm and encourage this step the Spirit of God reveals it to us from the life of Job "the richest man of the east" who's secret of his success is told plainly in Job 29 1-11 which tells of Job past successes, "Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God watched over me: when His lamp shone upon my head, and when by His light I walked through darkness; just as I was in the days of my prime, when the friendly counsel of God was over me tent; when the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me; when I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil; when I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street! The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up, the princes refrained talking and laid their mouth. The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth. When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:"
but in verses 12 through 17 he explains why he prospered the way he did,
"Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. I put on righteous, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem. I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. I was a father to the poor; and the cause which I knew not I searched out. And I break the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth."
The fourth step has to do with the concept of giving. God has promised to meet our need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, the promise to meet our need covers any problem that may arise in the wide spectrum of life. However, the meeting of the need is not necessarily the Transfer of Wealth that promises great abundance. So how can we be part of that Transfer of Wealth of the end times? This step is actually quite simple, God allows us to choose how much abundance we want for our life. What this means is that God supplies the seed to us and we choose how much we want to plant , therefore we predetermine how much abundance we need, want and desire. 2nd Corinthians 9:6 says that "he who soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly and he who soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully." A farmer knows that in order to reap the harvest of ten acres of land he needs to plant ten acres. You don't plant five acres and expect ten acres of harvest, yet that is how we tempt God when we wonder why there is not abundance in our lives, church or ministry. God encourages us in Matthew 6 to lay up treasures in heaven by our giving and in Malachi 3:10 God promises to open the windows of heaven to pour out blessings that we our not able to contain. The book of Mark confirms it in saying any man that gives to God; He will give it back now one hundred times over.
The fifth step is that of service unto God. When we understand that God rewards those who serve Him, then we will become busy in our service to Him. Many times people confuse the reason why God's pastors and ministers have the reputation of having the best of everything or at the least better than those around them. While there are those who may take advantage of God's flock, most of God's ministers are prosperous simply because they take more time to serve God in the ministry. Although this Transfer of Wealth is not just for ministers, but also for those who chose to serve God whatever it may be.
Finally this last step is our desire to seek God so that in the process God may reveal His Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge. God uses these three ingredients to create the existing world. Proverbs 3:19-20 "The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he establish the heavens. By His knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew." We also are required to seek this same wisdom to see this end time Transfer of Wealth as described to us in Proverbs 24:3-4 "Through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established: and by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches."
Now it is important that you realize that all these things must be believed for and put into practice in order to be part of this Transfer of Wealth. Everything that is received from God must be believed for, that is the law of the Kingdom. The law of faith is what will govern who receives the benefits of this Transfer of Wealth.
