Despicable Me 2 Review-Take Your Child or Grandchild

The other day, I took my granddaughter to see Universal's Sequel to the 2010 3d adventure "Despicable Me".

Although it is rated PG (simple playfulness and mild action ) I took my granddaughter anyway and certainly there is nothing in this particular movie that toddlers and boys and girls can't handle.
Are you thinking that Despicable Me 2 is probably an activity which you should take your kids to see or even grand kids ?

I did not see the original nor my granddaughter, but I don't think that is necessary to enjoy the film.

Audriana loved Despicable Me 2.

It is easy to pick up the premise that Gru used to be a super villain and now he is a family guy who alone raises his three adorable adopted young daughters.

Steve Carell who brings Gru to life is retired now from the bad guy business and owns a legitimate jam and jelly production company.

The AVL (Anti-Villain League) captures Gru to go undercover as a cupcake baker in the local mall. Their aim is to capture an evil doer who holds a serum that has the potential of turning all the Minions into villains too.

Will your toddler love Despicable Me 2?

Now these three girls are fabulous Margo who is smart and cool, Edith who is tomboyish and ninja like and Agnes who is so sweet but the show stealer's here are the Minions who are candy and banana loving creatures.

My granddaughter, who by the way had never went to the movies before, loved it. At first she was scared walking into a large dark room with a gigantic screen. Soon she graduated from sitting on my lap to enjoying her own seat with her 3d glasses on, popcorn in her lap and holding her Minion toy.

She even watched the credits at the end which showed more of the Minions playfulness.
Should you go with your young children or even grandchildren to see Despicable Me 2?

The answer is a resounding and loud YES !!!!

I didn't know anything about the Minions or the premise of Despicable Me 2-It didn't matter. I just knew that I had heard from coworkers that the first Despicable Me was a wonderful movie that they and their children enjoyed.
Why wouldn't Audriana enjoy the sequel-Despicable Me 2?

The Minions are irresistible to everyone, including me and my granddaughter.

Grab your kid or grand kid, drive to the nearest theater and sit, relax and experience Despicable Me 2.

You, you child or grand child will not be disappointed. They will be chanting more!

And speaking of movie credits don't forget to stay through them for even more Minion enjoyment.
