Historians believe that Budda died between 483 BCE and 400 BCE in India. Many collections of Budda's teachings were passed down through oral tradition. About 400 years after his death, his followers transcribed his teachings. These transcriptions have survived to this very day. When all is said and done, Budda is a very interesting man to say the least. His popularity has no bounds; he is a well-known historical and religious figure. Despite his death, his legacy continues to live on through his powerful, inspirational teachings and philosophy. Budda is a truly one of a kind figure that has stood the test of time.
