Two Easy Steps to Watch Your Favourite shows and Movies on your PC

If you're anything like me you've probably heard people talk about a number of solutions to get American Netflix in Canada, most of which seemed quite challenging and complicated.

Rather than jump right into a solution, I want to start with the logic. Netflix USA cannot allow Canadians to view certain shows because they have to get a separate set of licences to be able to show the content they offer in Canada. In order to get around this a person must find a way to either mask or block their IP address through a number of different tactics.

I don't know about you but pretty well every time I hear this I ran for the hills. I'm not really interested in messing with my IP address for fear of complication but there is a better way.

Don't worry if you don't understand the technical that stuff. You don't need it.

First off, this can be done with either Chrome or Mozilla Firefox but I'm going to show you the Chrome way. For the link to install Hola Unblocker, on either browser, go to http://hola/org/unblocker.html while using either Chrome or Firefox.

Step One

If you don't already have it, go to https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/ to download Google Chrome.

Once installed, proceed to Step Two
Step Two

Step two to get American Netflix in Canada is to install a program called "Hola Unblocker" which is a free Chrome plugin that will mask your IP address and unlock a ridiculous amount of American content that was previously unavailable.

Once again, to install Hola, open up a Chrome browser and enter this URL: http://hola/org/unblocker.html

You will be directed to a page that will send ask you if you want to install. Click yes and it will be done in about 15 seconds.
