It has been an enjoyable stretch of years for enthusiasts and readers alike who have kept with the Potter series towards the end. The last book and movie instalment; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, marked the ending of an inspiring and magical story.

Most of the young viewers who saw the first movie; The Sorcerer's Stone, are now grown-ups. Despite the passing time, Harry Potter fans still feel nostalgic when reminded of that first movie. But of all the memories gathered over the years, it's the lessons about life that dug deep into their beings. Not one installation of the Harry Potter series failed to contain lessons about friendship, love and courage. Because of this most parents are hardly bothered by how their children are so engrossed in either the movie or novel.

When the showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in cinemas ended, polls appeared online containing parents' reviews and comments. There were hardly any negative feedback but some noted an increase in violence. The Harry Potter movies have become slightly violent over the years as they neared the final chapters of the story. Death and several fighting scenes happened more than a few times, which some parents felt was not ideal for some children anymore.

In defence to this, many fans state that most of Harry Potter movie followers have already grown up. The audience is now mostly composed of adolescents who have a better understanding of such things, especially now that they are maturing.

A great deal of the viewers, especially parents, are commenting about how there are positive role models in the movie and book. Harry Potter alone is considered by parents to be a good influence because of his inability to leave friends behind. There is also an emphasis on how each person's choices can make big differences in the future. Characters like Hermione encouraged studying because her quick wits and vast knowledge of the magical creatures got them out of tight places. There are also surprising and inspiring role models like Professor Severus Snape who, all this time, has been loyal and a valuable asset in winning against the dark side.

Courage is one of the most emphasized qualities of characters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Even in the face of danger or an impending death, the characters stood their ground and faced against evil. Despite the odds against them they dove headlong into the battle to protect loved ones. Love is always suggested to be the most powerful form of magic, in or out of the wizard world. It kept Harry alive when he was young and kept him safe throughout under the guidance and protection of caring people.

The fact that the Weasleys treated Harry as one of their own encourages the act of kindness, openness and even love for those who are not even family members. Now, even though the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione have dwindled down into a finale, what people learned by the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows still remains in the world of reality.
