I like chicken a lot and it is one of my favorite ingredients. This makes me experiment and come up with new recipes with chicken. Chicken is an ingredient that I enjoy cooking since it is easy to succeed with and you can prepare a large verity of dishes with it. It is delicious with rice and pasta and works perfectly with potatoes. It is only your imagination that limits the possibilities when you prepare a dinner with chicken as the main ingredient. As said, today's recipe is a pasta recipe with chicken and I hope you enjoy it. It is very easy to prepare.

Pasta chicken recipe-- my suggestion for what to eat for dinner today
Ingredients:.

4 pieces of chicken fillet (approx. 500 g, 1 fillet per person).
1 pack of Taco season mixing (approx. 35 g. I prefer Taco Bell Taco seasoning).
0.5 dl water.
1-2 tablespoons of organic extra virgin olive oil.
2 dl Creme Fraiche.
1-3 tablespoons of chili paste.
400 g your choice of pasta (approx. 100 g per person).

Start with cutting the chicken fillets in small more or less equally sized pieces. Heat up a Saute pan. I prefer having a classic nonstick saute pan with a helper handle and a lid. You need a lid for this recipe since the chicken will boil a little in the end.

Put in the olive oil in the saute pan. I prefer organic olive extra virgin oil since the taste is much better and the end results get, in my taste, much better with the organic olive oil. Any olive oil will do.

Bring a pan for boiling the pasta. Depending of which choice pasta you prefer the boiling time and amount of water needed varies. Normally you need 1 L of water per 100 g pasta, which in this case means 4 L of water is needed for boiling the pasta. Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package.

Put the pieces of chicken in the saute pan. Add the taco seasoning and the 0.5 dl of water. Boil until the water is gone. Add the creme fraiche and the chilie paste. I do prefer the Sambal olek chili paste, it is a quite strong chili paste but very delicious.

After you added the creme fraiche and chili paste let it boil for 2-5 minutes. It is ready to serve.

This is a very easy pasta recipe with chicken and very fast to prepare. This is one of my standard options if I limited inspiration on what to eat for dinner. You can of course add some salad or some vegetables to this dish. It is just to take what ever you prefer.
