In a few days or weeks, all the weight they've lost could be easily gained again. A good diet plan would also consist of an exercise regimen which was specifically designed for them. As mentioned before, each person's body and needs differ therefore so would their exercise needs. There's also the factor of time, age and capability. Some people are more able to tolerate more rigorous exercises. You could talk to a trainer about an easy program that you can do if you're just starting out.
