MLM business opportunities are much like pyramid schemes but the companies often put emphasis on the products and services offered. Because they follow a pyramid business model, there is also the possibility that the company would have a difficulty sustaining the compensation for members unless there is a big profit margin. Nonetheless, it is still much better than a pyramid scheme because the products and services serve as another way to earn money but it is still not the best these days.

Day 1 Business Model  Linear Model

Unlike many business opportunities today, Day 1 follows a linear business model. There is no hierarchy. Each member earns the same rate per sale.

The main disadvantage is for the old members. Their compensation rate is the same as the newest members.

However, every member benefits from Day 1 business model because it makes the company sustainable. The company pays only the member who actually makes the sale of exclusive products. There are no additional expenses for the company. The company actually gets a large profit margin so members can rest assured that the company will be staying longer than pyramid schemes and MLM programs.
