Think about it. Some people spend more time with trashy novels or t.v. shows, and those associations are unwittingly affecting how they feel, think, act, behave and achieve.

START putting new associations in your life that will help you get what you want. Take a moment and brainstorm the names or organizations whom you can being associating yourself with to bring about positive change.

1) Information – And, this is how to improve your attitude. Information is programming how to think, feel and behave. Lack of information can dramatically influence how you behave in a situation.

For Example: If you wake up after a all-night house party and all of your furniture is gone. You might have a bad reaction. You might immediately call the cops to report a robbery.

However, let's suppose you know that your friends are tricksters and it just happens to be April 1st. That bit of information changes everything.

Your brain is like a water glass.

There is constantly stuff being put into this water glass.

The negative news and tabloid garbage is like putting coca-cola on the brain.

If you keep doing that, you will continue to have a negative attitude.

What you should do is flush your water glass on a regular basis by taking in audios and videos by people who have and are teaching about exactly what you want.

Really, why do you need this?

Because you and I know you are subject to a bombardment of your subconscious mind daily. And, these negative messages are like weeds in your pristine mind garden. They will choke the life out of anything good unless you do some maintenance in the form of putting the right stuff in and taking the wrong stuff out (your associations).

You must do this on a regular basis. Be conscious of how you are putting water into your cup. Everyday, make it a ritual to work your garden. I got my daily ritual from miraclemorning.com, btw.

2) Environment – This is how and where you are performing from. Is your work and life full of clutter? And, does it support the type of production you want to put out? Record your answers in your journal.

3) Associations – These are the type of people you hang around the most. It has been verified statistically that you will become the average of the 5 people you hang around the most -in terms of your peer group.

Meaning...your income, health, relationships, all the results that they are producing...you will have the combined average of the five.

The continuing affect of those associations has tremendous impact!

This is, of course, good and bad news. Your results depend on what you do with this information.

Darren, Tom and I have been consciously choosing how much time I spend with people. Are they adders or detractors. Take a moment to reflect on that. You have your five in your journal. How would you rate yourself on your income, health, relationships, physical environment, personal growth & development, spirituality, romance, contribution and fun?

Now take a moment to rate them in the same categories...

Where you see a deficit, consider "Who is not in my life that I need to attract so that I can get to the next level?"
Who/what, if I surrounded myself with, would help me step up in the area of _____?

Find people that have relationships that model what you want to own.
Remember, the effects are subtle but profound.
