I had a blog and pretty good at seo so I started picking long tale keywords I could start getting some traffic from. The combination of all these keywords over time built some serious traffic to my blog.

I also had a squeeze page where I was collecting email leads, so for this I started writing articles I could send to ezine publishers every month. I also learned how to find and buy solo ads to send to my squeeze pages.

Last but not least I learned how to find good relevant guest posting opportunities. I would point these guest posts to my blog and squeeze pages also.

Getting to work and stop the noise!

Now, the most important thing for you to do is start taking action right away if you want to succeed. Sure, it's important to know a lot about internet marketing, after all there is a lot to learn. But action is the single key to success.

If you find yourself on 50 email list of guru internet marketers, then only pick the ones who are most important to you and then unsubscribe from the rest. Also, clean up your computer and try to get organized. This is important do not fail to do this. Many people keep surfing for that one single thing that will make them rich which is just never going to happen at all. You have to have focus if you want to succeed in this internet marketing game.

So in closing, you need to focus on your top 3 traffic sources which will help you achieve the results you want from online marketing. After all you are only one person and don't have a lot of time.
