Generate Free Traffic: Through Email Marketing

Even with all the other ways to generate free traffic, email marketing is still near the top of the list. Most people check their email every day, so once you get an email list together and start email people who have opted in to receive emails, they will potentially click on your sites and possibly purchase your products. Even though every email won't potentially get read or links get clicked on, the impact of traffic and sales will still be significant.

Create a squeeze page for each of your product sites, this squeeze page will get people to opt in for emails from you prior to reaching your site. Offer a free product download to if they give you their email, you will be giving them something in return for giving you their email and they will be happy with their free product.

Once someone gives you their information, you will now have them on your emailing list. You will need to create relevant emails to what products they are interested in and send them emails of new products you are offering. Make these emails enticing and hard to resist clicking on. If your emails are poorly written then very few recipients will read it, making your efforts worthless. So make it worthwhile! The more interesting and personal you make them the more likely someone will click on your links. Also make sure the products you offer are of relevance to their interest and of good quality.

Email From Field: Make sure you use a name that is catchy or a real person's name when filling out.
Subject Line: Make this interesting, most people look at the subject line to decide if they want to read it or trash it. Maybe ask a question, make it personal.
Have a powerful lead-in
Have a strong offer
Appeal to the buyer
Stay on a singular subject and stay on point
Keep your paragraphs short and to the point, the longer the paragraph, the faster your recipient gets bored.
Do not include advertising and don't make your email look like an advertisement. Try and gear it to look more like a review or personal suggestion.
Do not send file attachments, few people will open them for fear it's a virus.
Don't try to hype it up, keep your email personal and general in tone.

Try starting your email out with the benefits of the product, then make a small paragraph about how it helped you. Maybe include a deadline in which they have to respond to before its gone. Remind them that they asked for this information. Use the word FREE with caution unless what you are offering is actually free.

Make sure you have included your links at least three times in the email. You should start with a 5 second run down on what your offering, add a link, then go onto adding a 30 second run down of your offer then add a link and so on. The longer your email is, the more likely it will be put in the trash. So keep it short and sweet but on point with quality writing. The more you write up these emails, the more you will learn and the better you will get. So keep at it and get some traffic!
