Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch
For all bird lovers, the months of January and February present an amazing view of the impressive eagles perched on a tree or skyrocketing high in the sky in search of its victim against the bleak winter landscape. The whiff of the hot pancake breakfasts and the wonderful popular music adds some festivity to the ambience. This small farming community of Sheffield Mills comes alive throughout the winter months thanks to the bird watch held for three weekends.

Wharf Rat Rally
A relatively new event (2004) however, commemorated on a large scale is the Digby Wharf Rat rally - the intercontinental level bike rally throughout the Labor day weekend. The sight is astounding with streets populated with over 25,000 bikes and bikers. It's the most significant motorcycle rally in Atlantic Canada.
