Another way of persuading customers to patronize your product is through a testimonial. Many ads use this technique where people would read or hear about one user's experience with the product. For example, you can create a radio ad saying a store has sold out a certain brand of powdered milk because people are rushing to buy it. This may influence buyers to get one for themselves too as everybody is already into it. There are many consumers who do not want to be left out thus there is pressure for them to go out and purchase.

When you offer incentives such as 2-in-1coupons to customers, they would be forced to rush to your store and buy your product because of the additional product at no additional cost. You can also do the "Buy One, Take One" scheme. If you sell gift items, offer free gift wrapping. If you are selling carpets, you can offer free installation. Promotional package deals, free gifts and discounts motivate people to buy and this technique has been proven effective by both big and small businesses.

In order to encourage people to buy from you, you need to rouse their emotions. With these persuasive techniques, you are sure to get many customers to make your business successful.
