"My job sucks" has become a very common syndrome among the work force. It ranges from a simple declaration of a bad day at work to that constant gnawing feeling that life in general sucks because of the work one has. Until one day, one can't help but blurt it out to the world: "Help me, I hate my job!" Whether it is just frustration for the job or life in general it is important not to wallow or be dragged into the downward spiral of what could ruin life. There is so much to do once the acknowledgement of "My job sucks" has been made.
While there is a lot of work to be done for career growth, it is also true that attitude will get one so much further no matter the status one has in life. A good attitude will drive off the "My job sucks" syndrome. So does gratitude. It is a great exercise to look at the good things that one has in life and be grateful for them. There are always things that will suck. But no matter how much it can be dreary at work, this way of living brought a lot of things to one's life that are worthy of gratitude: food on the table; latest model of phone, car, house and a lot more. And that is just the tangible. What about security, self-esteem, and skills. There is indeed a lot to be grateful for. While it is in man's nature to look for or want more, it is no reason to compromise the present by letting this negative vibe suck the life out of the person.
A great deal of feeling unhealthy has got to do with health problems. Make sure to exercise daily and eat the right foods in order to help abate the drowsy feeling. Taking care of one's health does not only mean looking good; it is also about having the stamina to take on the rigors of life whether they are physical or psychological. It could also be because going to the hospital for an sickness one could have controlled in the past will be another reason to make life worse. The best time to be healthy is indeed the present: sit, walk, meditate, drink water, jog and smile.
Complaining is natural part of life. But while one says "my job sucks," it should be while updating the resume or sending them out so as to send a message to the universe of how serious the person is about what he feels. Do not wait for a job to fall like rain from heaven. Be proactive and although it is not easy being out there in the rat race, there is still something about being out there following something rather than sitting and complaining and waiting. On the other hand, being out there might also lead to a realization that the present is not so bad at all and the efforts directed for the future might also work if one gives the same efforts for the present.
