If you really want to try removing these insects without hiring a professional , then keep reading for a short guide on how to remove these insects from your home .
Find the Bugs
You have to find these insects first before you can start removing them. These pests hide during the daytime in upholstered furniture, baseboards of walls, inside furniture cracks, pillowcases, bed sheets, and mattress seams and come out at night to feed. Place all of the sealed containers and plastic bags inside a freezer for 60 days to kill all the bed bugs and eggs hidden inside them.
Wash All Clothes and Fabrics
You will also need to do a lot of washing to get rid of bed bugs at home. Put all of your clothes, stuffed toys, rugs, bed sheets and curtains in plastic garbage bags and take them out of the rooms infested by the bed bugs. Wash them all using hot water (at least 140 degrees) and dry them in a clothes dryer at 175 degrees or higher. Your non-washable items should be taken to a dry cleaner. Make sure that you inform the dry cleaner that your items are infested with bed bugs.
Vacuum the Infested Rooms
