What is the best way to go about repairing these leaks? You could hire a contractor and spend a ton of money or if you are lucky you could fix the leaks yourself. There are all kinds of flexible spray hardeners on the market place. There has been one recently advertised on the tv a lot called flex seal.
In the infomercial Phil Swift an infomercial representative shows you just how strong this product is. They take the bottom of a boat and cut out the bottom and replace it with a screen door. They spray the screen with flex seal and Phil actually takes the boat out on the water. Guess what? It stays a float! Wow, that is one powerful product. You can also use tape, epoxy and clamps to stop leaks.
Leaks can also show up in your automobile. You could get a nasty radiator leak. Having a leaky radiator can lead to a costly auto mechanical meltdown.

Also check the levels of coolant in your overflow reservoir or inside the radiator removing the cap when the car is cool down. If the fluids are low try filling the coolant and then keep checking. What you will do next is submerge the radiator in a tank of water and try to find escaping air bubbles. If you see bubbles coming off the radiator that is where the leak must be repaired. You can try pouring a stop leak additive into the radiator this usually can help stop small leaks. Read all the instructions on the product label.
If you have a larger leak than a soldering iron might do the trick on radiators comprised of brass and cooper which are frequently found in older models. On new models an epoxy gun may repair the leak.
Once you feel the leak is repaired refill the vehicle's cooling system after the radiator leak is repaired. Hopefully this will fix your leak.
Depending on the sort of leak you have you can use a liquid rubber sealer like flex seal to stop the leak, stop leak additive, tape, clamps, epoxy, epoxy gun, or a soldering iron.
