Many a times you might require Google ad sense or K2 items to be put up on your Joomla site. Many custom Java Scripts or widgets may also be needed to be integrated in the site via JavaScript. For this you need to embed the JavaScript in the Joomla content. But many users get stuck at adding JavaScript to the Joomla content. Usually what happens is that users will try adding code in the Joomla article and every time they try to save the articles, the Joomla editor will remove the JavaScript citing security reasons. You can add some JavaScript to Joomla by following these simple tricks. Go to your Joomla website and login as administrator. Select the Global Configuration and find Default WYSIWYG Editor. You have to change this option to No WYSIWYG editor. Now click on save button to save the preferences. Go to the content and copy all the codes, say HTML, CSS and JavaScript and paste this in the custom module area. Save the module and adjust the module show preferences to show the module as you wish. Now you can confidently add JavaScript to the content and this will not show the HTML tags or something shocking. But this method is tedious sometimes. Another method to incorporate JavaScript to the Joomla is done with the help of TinyMCE - JavaScript WYSIWYG Editor.
