It will be the task of the headhunter to make the negotiation between the both parties. He will deal with disagreements between the two and come up with a compromise. He will have to negotiate with the two parties so as to come up with an agreement regarding benefits and wages.

Headhunters usually work in an office. They have a telephone and an internet connection as most of their tasks are done through these. They may even set up an office in their house. There are many headhunters nowadays thus, competition is very stiff. Usually, they vie for the exact candidate and the exact contract. They must outdo one another by being quick and convincing.

People who wish to be headhunters have to be ambitious, sociable, friendly, convincing, determined, hard working, competitive and sales-oriented. It would be best if they know job descriptions of various positions so that they could easily identify the kind of people needed. He must have a working knowledge in sales, business, human resource, education, public relations and other fields.
