Admit it. You were a child before who may have chased dogs in the mud or rolled over the yard. Hamsters. That treadmill can be a source of delight to your child. A hamster doing its exercise can be a cause of visual entertainment. You may bring in a couple but be warned: hamsters reproduce rapidly and can have multiple litters in a single birth.

Birds. Colorful as they are, bird produce sounds that kids find endearing. Bear in mind that these creatures can fly so you should be watchful.
