Such a gadget will really need cleaning because it is always out racing away in whatever location you want it to run on. You need to clean off the dust and dirt away from your car for it to still look good and function properly. Here are tips in cleaning RC cars.

The first thing to do would be to take off the body and the tires of the car. You can clean both the body and tires separately and then the interior of the car. This will be easier for you hence you would be able to clean it properly.

To blow away dust or dirt that has gathered in your car, utilize compressed air from a can. This method will make it less difficult for you to perform the cleaning procedure. The dirt that is hard to reach will be blown away. When you use compressed air, do not use it around the engine of your RC car so as not to bring any harm to it.

Use a toothbrush to clean the spots of your car that is easy to reach. You can dip the toothbrush in water or in a cleaner for grimes and greases. If there is dirt that has become hard and has stuck on the car, you can take this off using a dry toothbrush. Make sure though that you do not pull something apart with the toothbrush as this may not let the car work . Just clean the visual parts so as to be sure.

With a towel or a rag, water and a mild soap, clean the body and the tires. You can dip them into a basin of water if you want to although this is not essential . You do not have to fret about washing them as they are no longer connected to the car thus their electrical parts are safe. Before you connect them to the car, dry them thoroughly first using a clean towel or placing them in front of a fan. You can also use a hair dryer to remove any moisture left behind.

As for the interior of the RC car, you can clean it using another towel that is damp. Make sure to clean the interior before connecting the body and the tires. There may be leftover dirt that may have stuck thus you need to take this off. Make sure that the towel is not too damp because too much moisture will stay in the car and damage to it can be done.

This is the easy way of cleaning your remote-controlled car. Stay away from cleaning the car engine if you have no idea on how to do it. You may forever damage the engine and then eventually the car itself. If you need to clean the engine, take this to an expert.
