Eliminate Information Overload in 2012

Two months ago, I had to take a step back from my online home business and away from my computer in general. In a nutshell, I had information overload. I was spending all my time attempting to learn new skills and like so many online marketers, wasn't essentially getting anything accomplished.

The snapping point came when my 'mentor' brought out yet an additional new product and started promoting it like crazy to his 'team'. I knew I was not working from my heart any longer. So not only did I not take part in this new and amazing 'opportunity', but I am proud to say that in the last two months, I have realigned my plans for online home business with what I really want and what will make me happy other than money.

... Which is to have more enjoyment with my children on a daily basis, travel more, and to live an abundantly healthy and balanced life. I mean, if you are going to do something longterm, it should be fun and it has to be something you'll enjoy waking up to every morning with excitement, right?

The recess from my online home business was revitalizing but equally, I knew online business was the only way I would be able to quit my job and unquestionably own my life. I positively understood the power of marketing on the web but I needed to change directions. What do they say about the meaning of insanity? ... doing the same thing over over and expecting different results?

However ... If you can determine why something can not be done, by law, you must be capable to ascertain how it can be done. Those who accomplish great things are aware of the negative, but they give all their mental energy to the positive.

So the this year brings new meaning for me since I have gone back to square one and am starting fresh and focusing on what I CAN do. I have found a mentor who doesn't have ulterior motives to really help me learn what I need to learn concerning marketing online in a way that feels right for a change. I am focusing on one or two marketing strategies and spending a bit of time just about every day doing them. Other than that, I am nuturing my mind and body and being the best mother I can be.

To start with I have already started with some changes. Last week I cut my hair off, quit my job, and chose to create a value based online home business so as to really own my life. It's a freeing feeling and I know that I am moving toward a fun year of expansion and abundance.

The main thing is that regarless of what business you're in, never neglect your values. Remain focused, specifically when it comes to the internet, and remember that no matter where you are in your business, you can build a thriving online presence in ANY industry by simply staying true to your vision, getting a solid marketing plan in place, and connecting with people like you have want to work in an ethical and meaningful way.

So say hasta la vista to information overload in 2012 because this is the year to absolutely inspire yourself in every way.
