Printing - Once you have your invite designed just how you want it you will need to get your invite printed. Most likely your printer at home will not be able to print on the type of cardstock you have because it is to thick but even if your printer can do it printing more than 25 or so will end up costing you a ton because the cost of ink. So it is better to hire a professional printer to print your invitation creation.

Wedding invitations are important and you want them to look their absolute best so if you decide to do them yourself I would recommend practicing on your bridal party invites first. Also make sure you print a couple of invites at home to make sure they look correct when they are printed. You don't want to send your invitations off to be printed and have them all come back incorrect.
