For you to be able to go about this feat, you have to see to it that you take the time to learn and perfect your speech beforehand. You also have to make yourself as visible to your audience as possible. If you have been provided a lectern, for example, try to ask your technical staff if they can provide you with a lapel or a wireless microphone instead. This way, your audience will be seeing the whole you throughout your public speaking gig. Doing so will also allow you to move around the speaking space as much as possible. This will help you make your audience more engaged and more interested in what you have to say.
