The cost is usually worthwhile because there is less chance of the washing machine getting damaged during the transport, and the person who delivers the machine is usually capable of making sure that the machine is correctly hooked up.

Previous to purchasing the machine, you need to look into not just where you can get washing machine parts, but also if there is someone who is capable of installing the new parts. Used washing machines, like used cars, are going to break down from time to time. Washer parts are going to wear out. If you are decent at do-it-yourself projects, you might be able to save money by ordering the parts online and making the repairs on your own. However, you should only do this if you are 100% positive you know what is wrong with the machine and are confident that you are capable of replacing the part. If not, you are better off hiring a professional repair person.
