Will and Jada Smith were recently the victims of celebrity gossip when reports surfaced that they were splitting up after thirteen years of marriage, reports that the couple subsequently denied. But they are not the only couple who are currently the focus of celebrity gossip sites. Here are some of the most talked-about celebrity couples.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. Kim is no stranger to gossip but her very public wedding to Humphries will surely make her the focus of even more talk. While reporting on the couple centered on their honeymoon in Naples, some sites tried to stir up trouble by claiming that Humphries was spotted not wearing his wedding ring. There were also reports that Humphries family was appalled by the ceremony, which featured lots of glitz and over 200 TV crew members, although they still cheered when the two were pronounced husband and wife.

Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez. The teenaged couple has become the victims of celebrity gossip because of their wholesome image, which seems at odds with their public behavior. The two have reportedly been spotted making out on the beach at Maui, complete with photos, and even backstage at the MTV Movie Awards. Some cynics have even suggested that the whole thing between the two is a case of image manipulation to deflect rumors that Justin is gay.

Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie. The two first hit the celebrity gossip sites due to their reported affair while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston. In subsequent years, however, the focus on reporting on them has been on their philanthropic pursuits as well as Angelina s adoptions. Recently, however, the two have become talked about again due to reports that the two may be thinking about marriage after six years of togetherness and six children together.

Beyonce and Jay-Z. The two are among the hottest stars in the music scene so it s not a surprise that they are also among the most talked-about. However, the two of them seem to have successfully avoided having a lot of gossip about them by keeping a relatively low profile, since most of the talk about them revolves around their lavish celebrity lifestyle. Forbes magazine recently declared the two the second-richest celebrity couple after Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.

Doug Hutchinson and Courtney Stodden. The two are probably the most shocking celebrity couple to hit the gossip sites, not just because of their wide age difference  Hutchinson is 51 and Stodden is 16  but also Courtney s inappropriately sexual image. In fact, the two had to obtain permission to get married from Courtney s parents since she is a minor and even reportedly abstained from sex before marriage. Stoddard bills herself as an aspiring singer who has posted some of her videos on YouTube and has recently appeared in photoshoots wearing a red bikini with a too high-cut line. Further fueling the celebrity gossip, the two have been making the rounds of the TV talk shows extolling their love for each other and defending their marriage, to questionable effect.
