Would you fancy changing diaper for a bird?

Humans have been bestowed with a brain that can cook up a million different things in a matter of seconds. In addition to making inventions that are made for the benefit of mankind, there are numerous inventions that are of no use. While many speculate and play the "what if inventions" game for fun, some people actually go ahead and create things that can only be categorized as crazy. However, it is their brainchild and every invention requires a lot of though and logic process. But some inventions go right over the head. Can you imagine that a person in 1959 invented a diaper for birds? Sounds sensible? It is, if you have pet birds and want your house clean. But actually doing the nappy changing work for a bird is not a job anybody can find appeasing. It is bad enough doing it for babies.

Shoe umbrella

Umbrella shoes are another crazy invention. These are shoes that are fitted with umbrellas at the toes. They form a little cover for your shoes so they remain safe and dry. Pretty crazy from a point of view. What about the sole of the shoe? What about the heel part of the shoe? Why would anybody want to keep just their shoes dry when it rains? Rather, is covering only the toes and the front part of the shoe sufficient for protection? Makes no sense. Nevertheless, someone actually went to the length of designing it and then spending money in manufacturing. The appearance that the shoe creates is hilarious, though.

Burp filter

Then there was this guy who invented the burp filter, an invention that is still lying for patent approval and is unlikely to get one. Nevertheless, the inventor waits with hopes held high. This invention is about filtering the burp gases that you emit when you burp. Imagine sticking a pen like instrument into your mouth when you are about to burp to filter out the bad odor. Cover your mouth with a scented handkerchief and your work is done anyway. Surely, sensible people will either try to suppress a burp to show good table manners or excuse them when they feel a burp rather than inserting burp filters in their mouths. This invention takes the cake among the crazy inventions list.

Anti-eating mouth lock

And now for the grand finale. The ultimately crazy invention is an anti-eating mouth lock. This is a bizarre looking helmet kind of thing that you strap about your skull. A cage covers the mouth and keeps you from opening it. The whole absurd assembly culminates in a lock on the strap near the ears. The question here is, who holds the key? The invention is probably very useful if you ask a neighbor to lock your mouth and disappear with the key for a short while. If you hold the key, and it is a matter of self control, then why have the cage around your mouth in the first place? The inventor of this crazy article sure seems to be someone who struggles with weight loss problem. Who else but a desperate soul can create something like this!
